Drums/Percussion
Ian is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, receiving his undergraduate degree in classical music with a concentration in percussion studies. Ian is a composer, performer, and lover of all things related to the art of music. He spent over 6 years as the assistant percussion/drumline instructor for Midlothian High School and Ian's original solo works for Marimba were performed regularly during his stay at VCU. His composition skills were further commissioned during the 2007 48-hour Film Festival for the film "A Trivial Pursuit." Ian spends most of his free time playing acoustic guitar, composing and performing electronic and acoustic works for piano and keyboards, and furthering his studies of the percussive arts on both drum set and mallet instruments.
