Flute
Gina began playing the flute at age nine and music has been a major part of her life ever since. Growing up, she would play flute and piano duets with her dad in Charlottesville, VA. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance at Virginia Commonwealth University. There she started out as a music education major but realized she wanted to focus more specifically on the flute. She continues her study in performance and loves the one-on-one teaching atmosphere with private lessons. Gina has studied under Angela Kelly, Francile Bilyeu, and is currently studying under Dr. Tabatha Easley. She has performed in the VCU Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the VCU Orchestra, the VCU Flute Ensemble, woodwind quintets, and other small chamber ensembles. She currently performs for public and private events in a flute duet. Gina encourages her students to listen to and play different types of music and enjoys teaching people of all ages and levels.
