Andrew has been an active performer from an early age. Before graduating from high school, he had been invited to play professionally in venues such as the Getty Musuem of Art in Los Angeles and the Smithsonian, performed a solo with the Richmond Symphony, and was featured on National Public Radio's "From the Top."
Andrew is currently entering his senior year studying classical guitar at Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Music. He continues to enjoy an active performance schedule: He regularly appears in Richmond as a soloist and with the Richmond Guitar Quartet. He was also featured on a broadcast of WCVE Richmond's "An Hour with the Guitar."
No stranger to popular music, Andrew spent much of his youth performing with Rock Bands in Northern Virginia. He also currently performs Celtic and Bluegrass Music in a duo with fiddler Delphine Guilloux.
Andrew began teaching privately at the age of 15. Since then, he has helped many people of different ages and abilities learn to better enjoy and understand music through the guitar. Currently teaching in Northern Virginia and Richmond, Andrew enthusiastically welcomes young students ages 8 and up as well as adults.
